Wedge Weights™

Adjustable + Rules-Conforming. Wedge Weights™ attach magnetically to any steel iron or wedge not covered in plastic badging. This allows you to test and adjust the weight and location you prefer. When you're ready for a USGA event, peel and replace the silicone test shim with our 3M™ VHB™ strips for rules-conforming play.

Wedge play requires more mass.

Stock wedges are built for the energy of your full swing. But on partial shots, swing speed drops and you lose the feel of the clubhead. And gripping down only makes it worse — where each 1/2" down loses ~7 grams of effective head-weight feel.

  • TAKEAWAY: More mass means more inertia to resist dragging the club inside or otherwise disturbing the face orientation or shaft plane established by your setup.

  • TRANSITION: More mass makes it easier to feel the clubhead pause and begin to fall into a natural delivery position — instead of you forcing a change of direction with your hands or a premature turn.

  • DOWNSWING: More mass means more momentum — as gravitational forces provide a stable source of energy. The clubhead wants to fall and accelerate along your shaft plane. Your job is to let it. This allows you to keep your weight forward and maintain your posture while preserving the angles and low point established by your setup.

TEST MODE

MAGNETIC CORE

  • The magnetic core allows you to attach, adjust, and test with confidence. They will stay on.
  • The magnetic core is made from N52 Sintered Neodymium Iron Boron (NdFeB). The steel body is milled from 17-4 stainless steel.
  • Our design creates a 'pot' magnet effect that dramatically amplifies the magnetic pull force by capturing and redirecting 360° of magnetic flux back through the sidewalls directly into the clubhead.
  • A black silicon shim is pre-attached via a temporary adhesive to protect the club, amplify friction, and preserve the cell structure of the bonding strips until you are ready to convert from TEST MODE to PLAY MODE.

RULES-CONFORMING 3M™ VHB™

  • After testing and choosing the weight and location, 3M™ VHB™ 5925 strips are provided to bond the Wedge Weight to any location on the back of your clubhead per USGA Equipment Rules.
  • VHB™ (Very High Bond) is a closed-cell foam specifically engineered to bond coated metals in demanding outdoor conditions. The VHB™ conforms to surface irregularities and distribute stress evenly for a long-lasting, weather-resistant bond.
  • If you ever want to remove a Wedge Weight, use a plastic tool to pry/separate the foam core from your clubhead. Clean away any sticky residue with a citrus-based adhesive remover.
